What is therapy with you like?
I see therapy as a collaborative process—we work as a team. Our conversations help you make sense of what you’re going through, understand yourself more clearly, and decide how to move forward in a direction that feels right for you. I use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
I am also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), which can help your brain process difficult or overwhelming experiences so they feel less intense and less “stuck” over time.
What type of issues do you help people with?
I work with people experiencing a range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, grief, and work-related stress. I also have experience working with LGBTQ+ individuals and adults on the autism spectrum.
Even if you don’t see your exact situation listed, feel free to reach out. I’m happy to talk with you about what’s going on and whether I might be a good fit.
How do I know if you’re the right therapist for me?
Before we decide to start therapy, I offer a free consultation where I listen to your goals and challenges. If we both agree that working together feels like a good fit, we can schedule our first session at that time.
Can sessions be conducted remotely and in-person?
Yes. I offer both in-person and virtual sessions. I use HIPAA compliant, secure video conferencing and telephone. Some people utilize all three types of sessions (video, phone, in-person) depending on their availability on different days. This ensures you receive consistent support wherever you are.
